I have a 2018 t6 with DSG but in the basic configuration without cruise control. After reading many posts I decided to install MFSW where there will be a regular cruise control and not ACC.
The first question is - Will a steering wheel for example from a Passat B8 or Golf MK7 suit me? I want to keep my airbag and visually the shape and mounting for it are the same. However, the codes are different. These steering wheels are simply much cheaper. I myself am from Ukraine and such steering wheels cost up to 100 USD. and the T6 ones cost over 300.
The second question is the wiring from the cushion to the steering wheel. I have a regular one without additional connections, I found similar ones that have wires to the buttons but I'm not sure if they will suit me. Maybe you have the wiring code that I need?
The third question is the wiring that goes to the BCM remains a mystery to me. All posts describe ready-made solutions that can be purchased, but the links are not available to me. I have experience with wiring from 0. I installed from pins and wires on my Audi when I modified it.
I apologize if I am writing this post in the wrong place or for my level of English. I would be very glad to receive an answer, because I have been racking my brains for 3 days now, and the budget is a bit limited for rash purchases.
