Heated double seat removal question.

Hi folks and @Deaky
I have a new
van with a double heated seat, I'm swapping this out for a single seat that I think is unheated..can you see any issues with warning lights ect if the single isn't heated?

Hi, I wouldn't think it would through up any lights on the dash etc. It may log as an open circuit on vcds or carista scan.
My double doesn't work as the element is broken and I have no lights on the dash.
I may be interested in the double if it works and you are selling??

Good point about the broken element...taken on board.
Yes mate, selling the double. It's from a brand new van...never say on.

What @bubbadubba said. It won't cause any errors on the dash but will log a fault code on VCDS

@Deaky Just thinking...if I got a single seat element I could connect that to the OEM loom. See any issues there?
Do you fancy swapping my Lazers out one of the days? Probably swap the whole grill save's cutting another.

You could definitely get new pads and put them in your new seat. No problem to swap the Lazers
