I have a very strange problem. I have a lot of heat radiating from behind the bash board, no matter what vents or temperature is used. Aircon has t worked side having the vehicle.
I only noticed as my legs were getting cooked, on investigation, the key was hot and the steering column plastics were very warm. I removed a 12v plug/cubby hole from the dash and it was also hot behind there. I’ve done about 2k miles since Feb ‘25 but never really noticed it like this.
I’ve done some research but nothing seems to be the same as my issue. I do have VCDS….once I find the cable.
Does anyone know the best place to start?
