Head-unit upgrade recommendation DMX9720XDS

Hi - we've a T6 highline that came with a Kenwood DNX516DABS fitted which I want to upgrade - Apple Car Play the main thing we are after that missing, but would be great if we could stream movies from HDMI to the unit as well when at camp sites. Have been looking at the Kenwood DMX9720XDS - what do people think who've used it - relative to the price and other units that could do similar for what we want (or at least deliver a sleek wireless Apple Car Play experience and show reversing camera, use steering wheel controls etc).
Will get it professionally installed - what else will have to be purchased to get it installed so that I can gauge a total price?
(e.g. Is the HDMI input a cable from the rear into the glove box, or front port? - can the dash USB be attached to it (it currently isn't connected on the 516 at all (no power) - or is that also another cable to the glove box? Does it need a facia cover? etc)

We have done many more Kenwoods 9720xds over the Alpine halo9, and all of them have given us very positive feedback due to its screen quality, and wireless CarPlay/android auto

you will be retain using the correct parts of course , the parking sensor display, reverse cam, dash board usb, MFSW ,

A hdmi cable is needed and plugs into the back of the unit , so you can feed it to the glovebox etc

there isn’t another unit that comes close to it, as very few units have wireless
