Nope not yet! I am still living with the sticky touchscreen atmHi Ambrose. Did you find anyone to do this work in or around Manchester?
I vaguely remember reaching out to West Yorkshire VAG Solutions and they’ve offered to help. They initially enabled the CarPlay on my system. I think I was debating whether to upgrade unit altogether rather than trying to fix it.I have emailed Dav-Tec. Happy to travel if it sorts the issues I'm having!
A touch screen replacement is a £20 DIY job & takes under 2 hours. 'tis much discussed & documented around these parts. My head unit touch screen won't even find radio 1, or save any presets and it keeps defaulting to BBC News whereby you can't get anything else and it won't let touch anything because there is nothing to select. Does anyone have an idea, of what I can replace this thing with, the cost doesn't matter, or what shall I do to mend it. It will still play DVD's but then it sticks so you can't change the settings. GRrrrrr![]()
The search function is your friendOh that's good news, Thankssaves having to replace the whole thing......many thanks

I know there’s a lot available on EBay, but does anyone have a link to one that they’ve bought from?A touch screen replacement is a £20 DIY job & takes under 2 hours. 'tis much discussed & documented around these parts.
