Head changed to Alpine INE-904D

Finally replaced my VW head unit to a Alpine one. Also added a wireless Apple play dongle and a Eightwood Shark Fin. Wish I had fitted a shark fin to the last van the difference is amazing over the poor VW aerial arrangement. Now have proper DAB and better gps signal.

Hi Colin, do you mind me asking what dongle you purchased and where you got it from. Also, does it plug into the head unit? I have to connect my phone to the USB port by the glove box in order to activate apple play, which is a monor annoyance. I assume I would just have to plug the dongle into this USB rather than the phone and bobs your uncle?

Got from advanced-incar, yes plugs into the USB. They’ve got a YouTube videos with both the VW head the Alpine.
