Has anyone used or got one of these beds?

No experience of the mattress but no reason why it wouldn't work.

As an alternative, have you considered camp beds? We spent years camping with air beds, self inflating mattresses, etc.. but our most comfortable sleeping under canvas was our last season when we switched to camp beds with Duvalay sleeping bags on top.

These are the ones we have - Posadas Foldaway Bed Single - 2 side by side (or the double version they do) would be a bit too wide to fit between the wheel arches but with their height they would sit above them - only question would be if the position of the legs would work - I think they would but with my converted van I can't get at them to check for you.

Evening all I am looking for a bed option for the Kombi that isn’t a permanent fixture I came across this as it is 4ft it will fit between the wheel arches , thinking it could be just the job as would happily have an air bed but can’t find a decent quality one in 4ft ,any thoughts to any other products appreciated

Hi. Did you buy this mattress? Does it sleep two average sized adults? I’m looking for something similar that fits between the wheel arches of my t5. Thanks.

My wife made something similar to the photo. This replaced our double blow up mattress and was much better. However, when we didn't take our awning there was no wheres to store anything. Also, we had to place an insulating layer under the mattress as it got slightly damp.
Eventually, we bit the bullet and had a Reimo 3000 full width bed system fitted. Far better in all ways except one, the first 2 mattresses didn't rattle whilst driving.
