Unfortunately two stupid drivers didn’t get the gap correct hence I now need a new drivers side mirror
t6 Highline c/w DAB antenna but without SAT Nav
Has anyone tried Wingmirror man Attached.
If the DAB antenna wasn’t buggered before it probably is now so probably needs replacing, any thoughts on using something different for DAB as out of three vehicles the t6 has the worst DAB radio reception.

thanks in anticipation

(One of the two stupid drivers was me)
the mirror has two antennas GPS and a Dab antenna but the van doesn’t have sat nav. Any thoughts?

I too have a T6 Highline. 2016 model.
The o/s mirror was knocked off by an over enthusiastic delivery driver a few weeks before Christmas.
Looked at assorted replacement options.
Decided against the non OEM options having read very mixed reviews.
Replacement at local VW dealer was a non starter. Eye wateringly expensive.
In the end I went with 2x genuine T6.1 Startline mirrors (O/S & N/S). This means that they don't need painting.
Purchased for £70 each from Exploria Ltd on eBay.

They are a conversion company and had taken them off a brand new vehicle.
I have checked and they still have availability.

Fiddly to do but not difficult. No wires to cut. Plug and play.
Make sure that you buy some replacement door card fastener clips as they break easily.
I also found that a set of plastic trim removal tools made life easier.

Brilliant thanks, does the startline mirror have the antennas included with them? mine has both DAB and GPS in the right hand side even thought the van doesn’t have SAT Nav. looks a good solution and wifey says shes happy with black mirrors
thanks

I replaced both mirrors.
My DAB radio still works absolutely fine.
All the plugs on the new mirrors had exactly the same wires as those that I took off the van.
Heated mirrors all working.
Manual folding.
Cannot comment on GPS as I don't have factory fitted sat nav.
I bought carbon fibre mirror covers to pretty them up. Not entirely necessary, but I had made such a saving on the mirrors...

Mick,
They did carriage for both for the price of one.
Had to order and pay for both in full and they then refunded one lot of postage.

Thanks I’ve ordered and hope they will do the same. Thanks for your help.

Ours is a van converted to a camper, pop top, wide bed, fridge, sink, rings etc love it but not used for one night last years we normally manage between 20 and 30 nights.

Mick,
Van was a panel van when we bought it. Slowly being converted into a day van.
All lined and insulated now, with windows at the side. Roof tent on top.
Still needs a rock and roll bed and some other bits.
Managed a few nights away in 2020. Hoping for more in 2021.
Getting there slowly.
