After a little advice
Could i swap the H4 headlight units for H7 Units, is it a direct swap or is there more things to change.
Is there a big difference in light output?

I don't know the answer but I'm interested too! There was some discussion in another thread too

2 x h7 on the h7 upgrade OEM lights, look on ETKA.. Not sure about after markets, as not seen any for the 6, but should be same unless upgrades.. Might be worth struggling on for 6mnths or so and see what comes out aftermarket.. Led? Just make sure any aftermarket light is CE approved..

Having met Andy from Transporter HQ last week for my B14's He is currently working on an aftermarket unit which uses LED running lights and Halogen main beams but with an improvement over standard and they will be CE marked when they become available...

I'm waiting with interest as I'd like to upgrade my H4 units

Great news @hwd612 , been considering the same upgrade for a while, just not gotten around to it due to health issues.. Any advice or pics? Was it as straight forward as it appeared? Bit of a revaluation I expect :)

I was following the proper instructions (attached), they say that you just need to loosen the bumper instead of fully removing it but honestly I haven't a clue how you're meant to get the light out or in with the bumper still in place, maybe I was just scared of damaging things.

If you follow the instructions you'll find that you end up with the bumper only being held on by three clips at the front, with a bit of a pull it'll come right off, lay some carpet or cardboard down beforehand to stop any damage to your paint work.

It's really not as daunting as it sounds, old fiesta was far more of pain! Reckon could probably get the bumper off now in under 15mins.

I have the standard H4 units which are the same illumination as a tea light lol with the manual levelling wheel in the cab
I can find the complete H7 units online for £170 ish each side.
Just wanted to see if anyone has done the swap and if there was much improvement?
