I worked offshore Mossel Bay years ago doing O&G surveys for BHP Billiton. Having travelled all over the worlds oceans I think it must be one of the most amazing places to see wildlife. You’re very lucky, I hope it didn’t get screwed up.

Wow! I worked at Mossgas/PetroSA and the FA platform for close to 30 years! Mossel Bay and the game parks as well as some remote rural areas are still very beautiful and worthwhile. A lovely place indeed!

We're aiming at touring one of the south african richtersveld eco trails over december 2021.

Has any T6 Transporter/caravelle operator done these recently?

Some are doubting whether the VW Bus will have what it takes.

Fellow UK residing ex Capetonian here. Lots I miss about home, lots I don't. Similarly lots to love about living here but also lots to dislike. Nowhere is perfect I guess

I bought a 2019 Trendline Plus recently and converted it to a wheelchair accesible Vehicle (WAV) for the wife. Fitted a lift in the side opening and a swivel chair, passenger side. Works very good.

How did your Richtersveld trip go? A bit late now, but I would love to know. Did it with my Landy last year, but would not attempt the same route with my T6.1 - although one could always look for detours if the area gets too hairy. As long as you have enough fuel...
