200 miles on the clock on the way home I pull in to get fuel and I suddenly get” parking sensors not working“ ,Reverse camera is also only working intermittently , Any ideas?, tried to book it straight into my local stealer to be told “yes no problem earliest we can do is November 25th “ Wtf !!

Just call VW assist out, you have 36mnths cover with them .. .

When you call in politely request a VW silver van guy only and not a standard AA yellow van guy.


They will fix or book you in quicker.

Sure, just say it's a drivability concern as you can't park safely at your location without the sensors and camera..

As above, they can only decline the request.

I called them out for my blower motor resistor, i said it was a drivability concern as I couldn't clear the screen....even though I have heated screen.

The point being that it will take 15mins to scan the van and do a visual inspection... If they can't fix it they have to book you in to the dealer for a fix within 3 days or so.

What's to loose.
