Golf R 7.5 seat connections?

Hi all,

I'm thinking about swapping my front seats for Golf R 7.5 ones and had a quick question I couldn't find on the forum already. When I took our the drivers seat out recently to put sound deadening down, there was a wire I had to disconnect from the floor to the drivers seat, I think it's the occupancy sensor? When fitting new seats do I need to marry this connector up with the same on the golf seats? Any chance they're both the same/plug and play?!

I have just put Audi seats in. The drivers seatbelt in my 6.1 is coded to the van. So i have had to remove the seatbelt socket from my old seat and fit it onto my new seat for it to work

I haven't got heated seats or electric so no wires for me to plug in. If you want to have those features I cant help with that I'm afraid

Maybe the one connection I know that connects to my seat is for the seatbelt so replacing it like you did will be whats needed, will have a better look at where that connection goes! Thanks for your help!
