Getting A T6 Under 1.85 Metres

so I was stuck at th Euro tunnel the other day for a few extra hours and had another hour delay due to being a high vehicle.

With the sport line springs it’s was pretty close to getting under (would deffo need to remove roof rails)

Would b14 coil overs cranked down to say -50 be able to easily pass the 1.85 height check?

Anyone done this?

Ah...

I got stuck the other day on a 1.85mtr underground carpark barrier.

Used to get in there in the T5.1 ok... but got stuck in this T6 t32 sportline...?

I was under the impression that the sportline suspension should make the van sit lower(roof hight). but maybe the 18" rims push it back up.....?

Haven't sussed it out yet... but we have no roof rails, but do have the rear barn doors spoiler...... maybe the barrier was damaged and sitting Lower? Had no problems today with a 2.0mtr carpark.

So havent tried your suggestion above but interested in what it may achive..

Just measured mine :) 190cm to the top of the hilo. I'm on 18" wheels and Bilsteins wound down with about 10mm to spare on the back.

Not that comparable I suppose as I've got a pop top but mine is 70mm drop on B14s and the total height is 1.98m

I’m at 1.87m - that’s to the top of the rear spoiler (no pop top). My local station multi storey is 1.9 so I squeeze in there.

I reckon it could be 1.85 without spoiler ?

That’s on B14s that are not fully down, and 18” rims.

It should be possible.
I went under a 1.9m barrier fairly easily last summer and since then I've replaced the 50mm springs with B14's.
Wheels and tyres will also impact this. If you have 20" wheels then I believe that the smallest tyres rated for a T32 are 265/40 which gives an increase in ride height of around 14mm when compared to the standard 18" sizes.
