Gas regulator

Hi
Looking to order the smev 9722 hob kit later today, there is the option to have either the standard top of bottle gaz regulator or a buikhead regulator that is permanently fixed inside the van, which one is the better option to go for? I’m thinking bulkhead?

I have known regulators to fail, so I always go top of bottle and carry a spare.

LPG regs state that for a fixed install it must be copper to a fixed bulkhead regulator, then a pig tail (50cm max length I think) to the bottle. Up to you if you stick to the regs unless you want to rent it out.
Also there should be a drop vent at every point that there is a join in the pipe. I only have the one where the gas bottle is tbh. Didn’t fit one under the gas hob.

This is pretty much the generic version for campervans.

Be aware you can order 8mm or 10mm outlet versions.
