Evening all,
I've searched for this but came up with nuttin…

Can anyone recommend an accurate gauge to check the level of the gas in a capingaz 907 bottle?
Is there anyway of doing this?

I’m presently about to start the NC500 and run out of gas in North Yorkshire. Fortunately before we started.
There seems to be a shortage of these bottles but found one in a go outdoors fortunately.

Thank in advance

There is no accurate gauge available other than weight! These cans don’t carry the “collar” showing gross and net weight. So, Google the weight of the canister (you might even get a guide on “full” weight) and weigh your can as it is. Estimate from there! (By the way, weigh the next full one you buy so that you have a scale of empty to full!)

Weigh it. Empty one weighs about 3.8kg, and full about 6.6kg.
You can pick up portable “hanging” scales pretty cheaply.

Pete
