Fuel Bleeding 2015 T6

Can someone recommend a diagnostics tool which is not mega expensive?
I have a 2015 T6 which has run out of fuel and despite 1/2 tank refuses to start
I have downloaded a manual and it is telling me to connect diagnostics to activate the fuel pump.
Can someone help?

I don't know of a cheap (sub £100) diagnostic tool that will activate the fuel pump. One might exist, but I just don't know.

I have had to prime my fuel system several times - accessing glow plugs and changing the fuel filter. I do have a diagnostic tool that can activate the fuel pump. But that isn't enough to prime the high pressure side of the system. Only cranking the engine will do that (at least for me with what I have available). You can be cranking for a long long time before it will fire. Hope you've got a good battery.

Carista works fine. I changed the fuel filter on mine and used Carista to prime the new filter.
