Front end clunking [Resolved]

Hi. Getting loud clunk /bang from front end . T32.
Happens from both sides.
Slow driving it's like the engine is moving! If I go over a uneaven surface it's like a knocking sound?
Changed to koni a while ago and it's lowered. Tried to improve the hard ride.
Had it up on Jack's and used pry bars but all seems tight?
Slow over speed bumps etc it's fine.
Can also get the noise if driving Slow and quickly moving steering wheel left and right to get van to sway.
Any ideas?

Had wheels off and checked everything we could with a bar.
Shocks are rock solid.
No excessive movements in any bushes.
It's a real clonk though and seems to be from both sides??

Drive shaft nuts tight when she’s resting on her wheels?

I see yours is T32, afaiu it’s not necessary to take drive shaft out to change a shock in that one, in T28/30 it is. But if it was taken out it has to be tightened in ”unladen position” by jacking the control arm up when in lift or stands.

So, my comment was just a guess trying to think what could be left loose in shocks / lowering job - tops or drop links sound more probable though.

Mine's going in on Monday with similar symptoms. Standard Caravelle suspension that's never been apart, 37,000 miles, 19" wheels are the only mod. I'll report back.

Monday's diagnosis was anti roll bar droplinks. It's back in today to have them replaced, so we'll see if that solves it.

I think the new drop links were around £30 and about 1/2 hour to fit. My lad works at a garage, so I didn't get a bill.
