Can't have too many "how to" threads with pics, so here goes...
Quick steps to remove door card (EDIT: this is the driver's side, but the passenger side is exactly the same steps, just fewer connections)
1. Prise off trim on handle on door card (little slot to below rear to put a screwdriver in)
2. Prise up and remove window switch panel (lever up from front edge and work backwards). Remove three connectors (use small screwdriver on clips - the green one can be tight, the others are easy)
3. Then should find two torx screws...
This is needed as part of a longer guide to removing and swapping doors, but I know this is a good subject for anyone who needs to sound deaden and insulate their van. A great deal of thanks to those on this thread which kickstarted my work today.

Thanks. It’s the next bit I’m asking about. Once the door card is removed, there is then another bit that holds all the gubbins. I want to get some deaden matt behind that onto the actual metal of the door
You can remove the metal plate but first you need to release the glass from the window mechanism. Once that’s done secure the glass at its closed position with tape (it needs a fair amount). The plate can then be unbolted and removed giving you access to the rear of the plate and the internal side of the door skin.
