Front Arch Lining - Heating Up

Has anyone changed/cut/heated up their front arch liner on the outside to stop the wheel rubbing the bolt at the top of the arch because of a 20x9 et35 offset?

Or does anyone have a picture of how the arch liner looks? Weird request I know but it's raining outside and I dont fancy taking a wheel off just to look.

As always any help would be much appreciate

I removed the bolt completely ant put the liner behind the bracket with a piece of self adhesive foam to stop it rubbing. Heat gun on the high spots too as above. I’m running 20 x 8.5 et 35 with 40 profile no rubbing now, fully down on B14s. Before and after pic below. HTH

Thank you for that, really helpful. What width tyres were you running on the 40 profiles to be rubbing the arch on an 8.5 front?

255 40 20 just caught when hitting minor bumps/potholes at anything over 30mph. B14s with 5mm thread left and machined top mounts so probably about 80mm down I’d guess. Still running the same tyres doesn’t touch at all now. :)

Pics below shows where the tyre sits in relation to the arch.

did you say your fronts are 20x8.5 et35 with a 255 tyre? I thought the sidewall of the tyre would buldge a bit more than that ...it looks inline with the rim in the last photo

Yep 255 40 8.5 rim et35. I’m running 275 40 on 10” rears et40 and the sidewall look nice and even front to back.

All at 36psi if it makes a difference.
