Question for those of using a FortyWinks bed in your Kombi’s
Am I missing something when it comes to folding and more so lifting back up the folding double in the back?
Reason being, the strap you pull to drop the seats is normally ontop of the base of the seat, so used to pull this to fold the seat down. Once it’s locked flat, you can’t access this, so used the strap at the back of the double. All fine.
With the FW bed in place the strap at the back is no longer “easily” accessible as you can’t get your hand down to pull it, and ended up underneath the bed on my back, attaching a hunger feeding it back through the gap to the topside of the bed, to give me enough leverage to unlock / release the folding seat again.
Has to be a better way around that surely?
