Wiring up my new aftermarket head unit. And there is a double black coaxial cable.
Looks like I need a double female Fakura conversion cable to utilise this cable. But is one DAB and one FM?
I know the aerials are apparently in the mirrors. But is FM one side and DAB the other. Or are they bilaterally wired. i.e. FM and DAB both both sides?
I am actually thinking a GPS FM DAB sharkfin is the way forward. after loosing DAB signal once I changed my headlights to the Transporter HQ DRL units.
But what about when I have a pop top installed. Could the sharkfin sit on top of the aerodynamic wedge as on the. SCA roofs? Or does it need a metal roof to achieve a good ground plane
Feeling a bit confuzzled!
