Flimsy bumper

I’ve recently bought a replacement front bumper, but it looks flimsy and warped. Is this the case? I’ve noticed all the pics online look the same but would I be right in suggesting that once the grill inserts are added in and it’s attached to the van, it’ll have more structure/Rigedety (sp) ?

Yeah all bumpers are the same pal. Soon as the other bits are installed it will become more rigid. Just a tip use some wd40 where the clips are, helps it snap together .

Ok thanks. It’s at the body shop now and the sprayer called me to say it was warped and if I wanted him to carry on. But from all the online pics I’ve seen it looks flimsy as heck. So I said I’d pop down with the grill inserts and we can have a look

Appreciate the speedy response

Usually when we have badly warped bumpers we put them in a natural position and put them on a bake with a job and it sorts it out. Obviously if its creased that would require a repair.

Are the grills fairly easy enough to pop back out? I’ll probably just leave it all with him then

Thanks again

Popped down this morning, and it wasn’t as bad as I’d had feared. Just looks like other pictures of bumpers I’ve seen on line but nothings creased or broken, it clearly just a flimsy piece until in situ. I’ve left him with the grill inserts and he’ll just pop them in.
