Not sure I like the way it's up in the air when not in use. But looks a sturdy structure.

Doesn't look an efficient use of space.

I recently got a 'Classic' fitted in the lwb - it really is an efficient use of space. As a windsurfer my sails and masts fit under the metal legs when the bed is folded up against the wall keeping them tidy.
The bed is a simple, great design and compliments the van.

I've got a lift and slide in my SWB. Excellent quality welding and fabrication. Can only echo the above, it is an excellent use of space - I fit my mx bike or a couple of mtbs in the van and I still have a single... if I go away with the misses I have a proper double. Non permanent top so if you need to use your van as a van you can unbolt it and take it out.

They are mega busy right now though, so be prepared for a 8 week + lead time!

For those that have the lift and slide bed do you reckon you could custom fit a slide out pod to come out the back of the van ?

I found Flat out by mistake I pulled into the complex where they are and saw the sign so went for a look, I had a good chat with Craig he showed me what they make but it wasn’t what I wanted I wanted a U shape system so after some discussion he agreed to make me something, if he didn’t like it I couldn’t have it and if I didn’t like it then I didn’t have to pay for it. The finished article was better than I could imagine excellent standard of workmanship and finish one or two tweaks were no problem. The whole system can be taken out in two minutes if necessary and there is loads of storage spac. Can highly recommend them
