Flashing glow plug light

For the last two days the glow plug light as started flashing shortly after starting from
cold. When restarted everything is normal again. I plugged in Carista and have the “16056 code - oil pressure switch: malfunction “. I’ve seen a few threads, regarding this. What is the best (most logical) pathway to sort this, as I’ve seen differing strategies in what can cause is?

In case it helps I ordered a brown switch for the front, easily accessible from underneath with a 25mm ring spanner.

Part was a Febi for £10 off eBay 314873138364

Replied to this a number of times and various attempts to fix it. Same fault code. There's definitely a big problem with T6s developing this issue. So far to date

1. High and low pressure switches replaced twice, fault recurred after a few months

2. Oil pressure regulation valve replaced, fault recurred after a couple of months

3. Oil pump replaced, now done 6k miles and 5 months later the fault has not returned

The pump was worn on dismantling but still surprising this was the cause but seems to have fixed the problem. Will report back in another 5 months. Here's hoping that's done it as it has been costl
