Fitting Double bench seat T6.1

Hi all, I'm changing the captains seat for a double bench seat. When I've taken the carpet up there are no studs sticking up to fasten to. There was a bit of silver tape covering the holes for the studs but no threads/captive nuts. Do i just fasten the seat in with a nut from under the van or is there an insert available? I've tried searching to no avail.

Was in the same situation. You need an extra 4 studs and fix them from underneath 1st. You can get at the 2 next to the handbrake but the other 2 require the adblu tank dropping. Make sure you have a double air bag too

Not to sound like a vulture, but if youre looking at selling your single seat I've a double bench that my partner would be so happy to swap for, I've even got thr fold doen kit for the double

It's a possibility, I considered keeping it though.

What fabric is the bench? And is it heated?
