Denmark were the MUCH better side, with or without sympathy for Eriksen or the (non) performance from the referee.

The beauty of football or most other sports is that the BEST team or individual doesnt necessarily win !
It's the unpredicatabilty of whether the underdog can upset the form book that makes it interesting.
When a referee makes clear errors resulting in a harder task for one team, things get sour.

The thing with any team sport is it's never actually over. A defeat gets put behind and everyone looks forward to the next game/season/competition, even if it's with a completely different set of individuals, the 'team' carries on.
