As it always goes, not having much luck recently :S.
So I had a problem a few weeks back where my suspension wasnt fitted properly and as a result the top of the strut snapped.............yep long story and maybe not related but maybe it is, when it went it was like a gun shot going off with the top of the spindle and top nut hitting the top/side of the scuttle bay, I could see the threaded bar and top nut laying in the scuttle bay so knew what had happened. I got recovered and took the van back to my unit so I could get someone around to strip the struts and rebuild them.
After getting the van in the unit after being recovered the next day suddenly there is an engine light, out of no where.
Few weeks have passed, the struts have been rebuilt and back on the van this time fitted properly.
Engine light persists, I can't help but think its too much of a coincidence that it happened the moment the strut snapped and its niggling at me that maybe its electrical ?
Is it remotely possible that there is any electrical loom or something in the drivers side scuttle that could have been hit by the nut and caused these Codes ? Or am i clutching at straws lol.
It is booked in for the glow plugs to be replaced, but I really dont want another £500 bill so if there is anything I can try before i goes on Monday im all for it.
P.s I've cleared the codes a few times now, after about 3 cold starts the light comes back on for the glow plug but its starting and running ok .
