Has anyone had experience with the fault code “P20BB/$07E8 - reductant heater ‘A’ control circuit low”

I come out to my van battery flat one morning, charged the battery and got the same the next day. Charged the battery again and put the meter onto the battery, with the ignition turned off.. the circuit is pulling 2amps.

After pulling several fuses, I pulled no23 and the current has dropped to 30ma. Fuse is good and have tried to reset the code but no joy.

Does anyone know if this is a common fault with the reductant heater? Or have any info on it? Any info appreciated

This is the adblue pump heater it has probably gone faulty and draining the battery.

Thanks Loz, do you know if the heater can be replaced or it’s one unit with pump etc?

It’s all one unit in the bottom of the tank.

Had the same issue with P20BB/$07E8 redundant heater A and B and turned out to be a blown fuse for Adblue heater, no idea how it blew but replaced and still OK
