Van went for its MOT & service yesterday.... got the dreaded call from VW it’s failed the MOT snapped rear coil spring!

Not the end of the world.
Out of curiosity is it on OE suspension, do you carry heavy loads?
Make sure you replace both sides
As far as Im aware yes OE suspension, had the van since March last year been away twice no heavy loads, maybe just bad luck

Ha ha ha! I had the same happen me on my T5.1 a couple of years ago. Being a typical punter, I had the garage replace it....they were shocked when I told them to replace both as they are more used to customers doing the minimum to get through the MOT!
