I've just bought a large ez detail wheel brush just want to get peoples opinion if they have used one.
It looks big enough to fully clean my rear wheels 10 et40

Iv used it. Personally I didn’t get on with it. Found it to spray the soap especially the black dirt and get it all over me. But I used it for a year or so till the bristles gave up. Now I’m using Auto finess wheel woolies. But horses for courses as they say

I use one and it is a bit splashy but I've found it to be very good and long-lasting

Had something that looked like that and it rusted through and fell off.

Paid a bit more for a Muck Off version and that has lasted. Link: http://amzn.eu/3rPFFfL

I use the original wheel woolies from the states. They are a bit pricey, but don't damage my wheels like that brush might. I found that running Black alloys, I had to be extra careful what I used, because they can scratch up really easily.
All a little irrelevant now, because my banded steels don't need wheel brushes, because they are so easy to clean :mexican wave:

You should one of these brushes, very soft and safe.

But if you're worried, coat your wheels with Gyeon Q2Rim...job done

Yes, I've got two of those. Use them to clean the wheel arch liner and springs (nice red ones). They reach in very well when you don't take the wheels off. I use the other one to clean the inner rim dish and brake caliper. Excellent ! Yes they do 'flick' water/cleaner back at you sometimes due their 'bristly' nature but I'm not a baby and can cope with that to get a good result :D

I've also got the narrow option of this, which doesn't 'flick' and is also very good for the inner rim dish and spokes of a rim :
