Extra USB and 12v accessory socket with low voltage cut out

Hi,

I'd like to add a double USB charging port and an extra 12v accessory socket in the rear of my 2018 kombi. I do not have a leisure battery. I am sometimes forgetful and do not want to accidentally leave a cooler plugged in and have a flat battery, whether or not the ignition is switched on as I also don't want to drain the start stop battery in city traffic..

What I think I want- is to add a lead on a fuse buddy from an ignition switched fuse to the socket, but with a low voltage cut out to protect the battery both when the ignition is off, but also when the engine is off but the ignition on- I have start stop.

Question 1. Is this a good idea or overkill?

Question 2. If it is a good idea which low voltage cut out is recommended?

Question 3. I have already put in a wired dash cam to fuse 25 so which fuse to tap. I do not have heated seats- will there be power behind this fuse (27) I think.

Question 4. If I am totally wrong- please say and make a suggestion given no leisure battery, start stop, forgetful, have kids- need more usb charging points, want to sleep in van so need cooler but think leisure battery too much bother (quite happy for cooler to warm up a bit).

Many thanks ed

heres some background info. . . .

basically dont leave a cooler box plugged in - it will run the battery flat if the engine is not running.

you can run in a new 12v socket/USB, but maybe run it from an ignition feed?

why not get the kids a USB Power Bank each to keep in the bus ? . . . . say 2000mA size?

Good advice..they draw a fair amount of power, so by the time any device measured a low voltage, it probably wouldn't start anyway.

Another option for you if you don't want to go down the leisure battery route, something like this might be half way house?.... UKing Portable Power Generator 222Wh/60000mAh Power Station Power Supply with DC/AC Inverter Charged by Solar Panel/Wall Outlet for Solar Generator Outdoor Camping Travel Emergency Backup: Amazon.co.uk: Garden & Outdoors

you would have USBs a plenty and fag lighter socket from this battery pack to power the cool box. You could then charge this from the cigarette lighter in the van whilst your on the move.

I've not seen/used the pack linked above and there may be better options...it was just an example of the sorta thing i had in mind.
