I read below various points around taking up a Warranty Extension Plan but need to ask simply please, does the VW extended warranty really offer value for money? As one sensible guy suggests put some much aside each month in case its ever needed and stick with you trusted local motors engineer rather than young techy's? Thanks Iain

VW warranty only covers £2500 per claim - won't buy much at VW rates.
I went through Warranty Direct around £600 for 3 years cover. Less than £4 per week seemed reasonable.
