Electrical Issue - HVac Related (atleast I think it is)

Hi
I have a strange and wonderful issue. I'm currently retrofitting genuine heated seats in my T6. Today I fitted the new heating control panel which has either highlighted or triggered a fault.

First off I notice my DRL's weren't turning off which lead me to believe the voltage hadn't dropped to the battery as it's using voltage sensing to activate. Listening carefully you can hear an electrical sound coming from the aircon / heating area under the bonnet. If you full disconnect the heating control panel, this stops.

VCDS is showing an intermittent actuator stuck fault which I believe is related. The fault clears but the issue continues even and doesn't trigger a fault for VCDS to pick up.

Aircon all seems to work fine.

I've changed back to the original control panel, I've disconnect and reconnected things but nothing seems to address the issue.

It currently takes about 30-40mins for the DRLs to go off, so something strange is going on.

The only things I haven't done is taken it for a drive and hit it with a hammer !

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
