Electric Power-closing Tailgate functions

Hey guys
When I specced my caravelle with electric tailgate I was told or read somewhere cant remember, that I would lose the function of interior release button but I pressed it today (the one in drivers door card) and the tailgate opened up is this right or am I getting confused with some other function I have lost

Would you mind to confirm what functionality your driver's door switch has in the following 4 scenarios.

1 - opening with a short/quick pull
2 - opening with a long pull
3 - closing with a short/quick pull
4 - closing with a long pull

Could you also post the photo of your driver's door switch?
