Hi

My T6 150ps camper has started dropping its wing mirrors when parked up and locked. Has anyone experienced the same fault. The alarm and door locks look to be still active.

Sure you are not accidentally pressing the unlock button on the fob in your pocket ?
Accidental presses will automatically relock the van after 30 secs if no doors are opened

The mirrors shouldn't drop down until you turn the ignition on.

And also, the BCU should be asleep and not powering any convenience circuits.

No the keys are kept in the kitchen overnight

What is the BCU?
The Body Control Unit is a microcontroller at the centre of most of the vehicle circuits not involving in the engine.
It has a number of large connectors connecting the circuits, switches and fuses.
When you operate a switch it commands the BCU which in turn activates a circuit or relay etc.
