EHU Sargent EC155 bypass

Quick q… want to use a AGM leisure battery for off grid…
However on EHU can I set the EC155 to charge the vehicle battery to run electrics in the van only …. That way I can use a CTEK plug in charger to charge the AGM battery?

Is this viable?

I have the EC155 and this panel to switch from leisure battery to van battery but I don't think the charger charges the van battery. I use a ctek mains charger to charge the van AGM battery via a cigarette lighter socket and the DC/DC charges the lithium leisure battery once the van battery gets enough charge. I've removed the fuse from the EC155 charger output as it's a dumb charger.

OK so let’s say I want the EHU to run the van electrics whilst connected …but not to dumb charge the battery… can I plug in a CTEK charger to charge the AGM leisure battery?

Probably a daft question, but electrics are like wizardry to me..

My understanding is the leisure battery (AGM) will provide the 12v and you'll charge that with the ctek. Like me, turn off the EC155 charger (and remove the fuse).
