The common factor in all these spurious warnings is the display of 650 miles not anything else which interesting. What you can do with the fact though I don't know. Software issue possibly?

And, there indeed is a software update for your engine - however the software is not a descendant of your current 04L 906 056 KQ software. Thus the identifier of the new software is unknown to me at the moment. Perhaps, a visit to a dealer.... to puzzle out T6 engine software configuration matrix

My EML came on its the egr again this is the 5th time it's been flushed.
My problem is we are heading to Mull on Wednesday,VW can not fit the van in for 2 weeks !
The van is running fine and it's a real pain in the ass getting to the dealer,is there an alternative to the VW flush ? I know terraclean ext all claim to help but it's not an egr flush .
Anyone had any experience of that ?

Yes, get it deleted.
Turns out I have had 6 flushes , the van does not do short journeys always runs on premium fuel , has a regular Italian tune up .

VW smg cowfold trying to charge me £260 for a flush
They are probably changing the egr pipe as well, it’s a new design
They quote near £580 for flush and new back pipe.
