Edition Red, Black Roof

Evening all,

Does anyone know if the black roof on a Edition Red is painted or vinyl wrap?

Just odd there's a clear lip to the edge of the black section, it doesn't sound like paint when you tap it with your nails, feels softer too. Also the gloss finish is not consistent with the red body, there's a clear grain to the black.

Mine is an Indium Grey ‘Edition’ and is definitely painted so I assume all are the same.

My mate has a Red Edition and his is defiantly paint also.

Has it had any PPF applied to it @Clydiee ?

I have a white edition and 100% the roof is painted the only things that are vinyl are the strips between the front doors and sliding doors on the b pillar and the actual edition stickers on the sides and rear door

Thanks for the input chaps. Still not convinced that the van we had in had standard paint on the roof...all sorted now anyway.
