Has anyone yet bought this new a/c unit from EcoFlow?
I would be very interested to know how well it performs?
Would it keep my office (south facing bedroom) cool?
Would it keep the interior of my black van cool when camping in Italy?

It looks like it needs to vent to the outside somehow so maybe that's something to consider.

I was looking at this and thinking it could potentially vent outside via the underside of the drivers seat, but not sure how feasible that would be. Thinking of using it as a replacement for a/c retrofit / diesel heater.

I cut quite a large hole in the floor under the drivers seat to bring heat up from the underslung diesel heater so that's definitely an option.

Waking up an old thread - I have just ordered a WAVE 2 to use in my T5 Multivan. I also have an Ecoflow Delta Max to connect as power source, so I hope this may be a good combination. I have not seen any alternative that can heat and cool using a "powerbank". Any experience to share? Any solutions on how to blow out the air from the external side of the heat pump?

I've seen loads of YT vids that show the exhaust side exit from the van.

And UAO made a portable option with window exhaust port.

But is assume best would be exhaust out bottom of the van.... But it's a big pipe.

So are you permanently installing?

In place of a derv heater?

I'll start with a temporary/portable installation, mainly for cooling during the summer. If I find a good solution I may mount it more permanently. The Wave and the Delta Max take up quite a bit of space though.
Good idea to check YT-videos. Will start there!

I never pulled the trigger on one. I was tempted earlier this year, when refurbished ones were on offer. But they were still twice the price of an equivalent “office” type portable one - even without the battery.
