EcoFlow Delta 3 and Coffee machine power up issues

I`ve just purchased a Ecoflow delta 3 to specifically use it for our Gusto Coffee Pico machine after research on the web stating that the Ecoflow should be ok but after purchasing and testing it , it seems the intial 1600w start up makes the Ecoflow go in to overload, even a standard kettle trips - no other devices were plugged in . We purchased the Ecoflow for off grid use, there are alternatives but looking at moee then £900+ range- any options around the same price as the Delta 3? An alternative maybe a smaller wattage Cappuccino machine- any advice? I know 1st world issues but i do like my cappuccino in the morning :) - thanks

Thats where I got mine from and well happy with it. But I've not run anything big on it. Just happily keeps my router and Alexa on 24/7, charging at off-peak overnight.
Did you get it on the last deal ?

Same here great buy from Costco especially being able to claim the Vat back.. used mine only once sat near a beach with a kettle on and fridge plugged in also.. only a collapsable kettle mind you.looking for an Air Fryer now..

On my Delta 3 1500 you can increase the surge output from 1800 to 3600w via the App

Funny things these coffee machines, our Tassimo with its max 1930 watt surge runs happily off my Bluetti AC180, but does make my van 2000w inverter 'grumble' even though it's meant to have a 6000w surge capacity.

Interesting - I've got the Delta 3 Plus and run an Alpicool 35L compressor coolbox off it and small Nespresso coffee maker simultaneously and never had any issues with it tripping out. Will check the specs on the coffee machine.

I even tried it with a normal kettle - the coffee machine draws 1600 which is under the 2000 limit but it seems it's the initial surge which causes the issue
