For info purposes. I found the D2 unit with the 801 controller didnt have the best fine control regarding temp selected and the temp reached ie set to 18 cuts out at 23.
So I fitted the wee external sensor as shown above controller in the picture- wired down to the controller external wires. Works much better now- setting at 18 cuts off at 19 or rather throttles down to maintain 18. Jobs a goodun.
