I’ve got a kombi & wouldn’t mind a fold down screen for the kids when they’re in the back. Where do I start? Do I need to upgrade my standard head unit also? I’m new to this..

Amazon kindle fires, a couple of headrest mounts and away you go. The fold down screens are very poor quality. A faff to install and expensive for what they are. A tablet each for the kids, and they can watch their own films without arguing. If you have Amazon prime you can download a lot of films for free onto to the tablets or fill up a few micro sd cards. I’ve had the flip down, and headrest monitors, but the best was the Kindle fire for £35

Agreed, physical media in a vehicle is dead and buried when, for the same or less than the old type of flip down screen, you can get a tablet with a higher resolution that you can store all the media you want on without messing with the main stereo. If you have multiple passengers they can all watch something different with headphones on leaving you in peace :)

Most flip down screens are as mentioned poor quality.

We only supply and install the Alpine drop down dvd, usb, hdmi screens

These are like comparing a Panasonic tv against a Tesco special. Awesome quality
