dvb to wifi Freeview hd receiver

Bought one of these for last weekend so I could watch the Monaco GP.
August DVB-T405 - WiFi TV Transmitter for Android and Apple

Same unit and supplier as the one on Amazon but nearly half the price..

not just for the GP but any TV whilst camping...

Interesting. Does it work on any device that has wifi? I have a cheap and nasty Windoze laptop that I use for watching downloaded vids and Lightroom when I'm away in van (so I don't risk my Macbook or any personal info if it gets nicked)

If you have a smart tv it already has a freeview receiver so all it needs is an aerial..

I found a solution for what I wanted to do. I'd forgotten that I'd bought a £10 DVB-T dongle from Amazon a year or two back to play around with Software Defined Radio and found some free software for Win10 called SichboPVR that works brilliantly with it, gets all the Freeview channels, tv guide, and even has a PVR built in if you want to record stuff.
