DTUK Pedal Box

HI ,I bought a Dtuk tuning box for my VW transporter 102 BHP T6 and I've been experiencing some problems with it it seems to have developed ashudder or misfire and despite changing the Modes up and down it just appears to be getting worse I've checked all the connections and everything seems to be correct so I've now just removed it just in case it would cause any damage I'm just wondering if anyone else on this forum has experienced similar problems with these boxes

In my opinion, all these cheap "Tuning Boxes" do is mess with the sensors to trick the ECU into over fuelling. These euro 6 engines are so finely balanced it will only mess it up.

Agreed, get a propper ECU map done from a reputable Dyno tested firm.

or just dont bother and get a van with a bigger engine in the first place. =]

Have literally just discovered this device.

I have a manual T32 150 which runs a Pendle remap.

Am I likely to notice much of a difference with one of the DTUK pedal boxes?

TIA.

What issue are you trying to fix by getting one of these ?
i would definitely speak to Pendle to get their view on how this interacts with what you have.

It's less about solving an 'issue' more about changing the characteristics of the drive.
The Pedal Box changes the characteristics of the fly by wire throttle pedal - it doesn't interact with engine mapping.
I can see more of a benefit with a DSG gearbox but am intrigued to hear the experience of anyone using one with a manual gearbox.
I may take a punt and see for myself.

So for the past year I have run my T6 204 4 motion dsg with a DTE CRD-T+ box and a DTE pedal box
the tuning box is ok definitely improved things and the pedal box is brilliant makes for a much better response.

This was a company van and they were not bothered if I fitted it... I had no issues.

We have all had to buy our own vans now and I have a T6.1 199 DSG... as I own this one I am debating whether to fit both of these in case it goes wrong as I will cop the bill now!

I had no problems on the last van I only need to update the box and it will work with the 199... has anyone had bad experiences or is running the same on there’s?
TIA
