Just to wrap this up, I had the service done today at Moor field Garage in Yeadon near Leeds/Bradford airport.

I just had a DSG oil change done at Preston (Lancashire) Van Centre for £228 for comparison.
JCT600 charged me similar iirc.
Is this service every 40,000 miles?

I did mine at home on some ramps. Fortunately I have a sloping drive, so the van sits pretty level when on the ramps. I bought a DSG filler kit from eBay. The job was quite straightforward. I used OBDEleven to monitor the gearbox oil temperature to get the fill level correct.
