Dropped led bulb

I was trying to fit an offside led side light bulb earlier and due to it being so bloody tight for space and fiddly, dropped it. It fell between the air filter and the back of the headlight. Any idea where it may have ended up? Would it be down into the bottom into undertray, or possibly behind the wheel arch liner? Just wondered if any ideas before I have to dismantle lots of pieces! Thanks in advance..

I have no doubt that someone will be able to advise you during the evening but" they have stopped for tea." Have you tried to see if it has dropped down to the floor?

Hi,
Yes, thanks but no luck and I did try rocking the van a little to see it would appear. I'll try and peel back wheel arch in the morning, failing that a crawl underneath in the rain.

Years ago I had a Fiat Uno. They used carburettors . Mine had a problem the dealers could not sort, it lost power through bends. I decided to sort it myself. I removed the carb, stuffed a rag in the aperture, adjusted the float, put everything back together and a washer was missing. Looked high and low. I could not find it. Found another one. Started the engine and tinkle, tinkle tap, ta,p tap. Oh dear. Somehow a washer was lost and then sucked into the manifold and then into the cylinder.

Not sure, but if you tap the wheel arch liner with your hand you may hear it rattling.

Related to this, the centre bolt on the air con pulley on my wife’s car backed itself out and fell out. Bought a 2nd hand pump and nicked it off that and refitted the clutch. 15 months later took off the undertray and found it wedged in the sound deadening. I’d looked at the undertray at the time and it’d been off twice since!

Hopefully not near the aux’ belt. Always worth putting an old sheet or towel down around the work area.
As far as I’m aware it won’t be behind the wheel arch liner. Possible gone forward under the head light?

Thanks I'll give that a try.

Thanks. I was trying to push the new bulb in so hand was low down and near the wing when I dropped it. Put my phone down and took a couple of photos but no sign. Think it'll have to be undertray off by the sounds of it.
