Drop Links - A better option??

I believe I have a problem with my left front drop link.

Is there a better/more durable option than OEM VW parts?

Meyle HD items are a very good option.

Fitted a set to my van when the B14s went on. Very well thought out and manufactured.

They have solid stud fitment, without a torx form pressed into the end of the stud to rust away over time! Instead they have 14mm (iirc) flats for a spanner behind the damper bracket, just where stud passes into the ball joint gator/boot.
