Does a Vango Air-Awning chafe paintwork?

Ha ha I think I may know which one is which as being an ex technician or in old money(as that’s what I am) grease monkey/mechanic
Has anyone not tried it yet???

I’ve seen kits for taking the air up into the pop top.

Yea, used it on a caravan Club hard standing.

We used to worry about scratching van until one mega hot afternoon earlier this year when we had the fridge in the space between van and the awning actually catch fire. Luckily the passenger door was fine but the awning now is open plan where the door was. Lesson learned fridge on gas not for us and door machine polished before we sold it.
