Christ, if she didn't spot a dirty great 2 tonne van then what hope would a cyclist or a pedestrian have had?

That woman driving into the back of the van is shocking, was she on her mobile?

Not as bad as above, but surprising the risks people will take to save about 2 seconds.

I think you need to be sending that to Malcolm Logistics......shocking, but we'll anticipated, good escape route
Here's what I do.

I email the company and complain. If they do bother looking into it and speaking to the driver, they invariably fib and say it never happened.

Then, and only then, do reveal the footage. Managers don't like being lied to and made to look like mugs and they get jolly upset with the driver. One I complained about was dismissed (at least that's what they told me) such was their anger at him lying to them, if not quite so much about his dangerous driving.

I'd send that one to the dibble as well.

Eek. Malcolm are based near me and I see them numerous times a day to and from work. They are normally driven very well and in a sensible manner. I’m sure the company would be very upset to see their name being shown in such a crap way. I’d definitely contact them in the way Sasquatch mentions. Hopefully the driver gets a proper realignment.

Thanks. I did fill in the contact form on their website, but no reply. Although I am still really angry as I believe that he did it deliberately, I am not sure I would like him to lose his job. Although I do think it could have ended up far worse than it did.

I wouldn't know how/where to send it to the dibble, but also know they are short on staff and wouldn't want to distract from more serious stuff. Need to think about it.

North Yorkshire police have a website to upload videos to - I’ll try and find a link. Malcolm are based in NY but I assume it should really go to the police in the region it happened.
