Dash Noise Reduction

I was at a wedding over the weekend and at one point was sat in the front seat of a Caravelle taxi, and while it clonked away like a good un at the back I noticed how much less road and engine noise was coming through the dash than mine, esp lower down. Now I've got silent coat and closed cell foam in the doors and some bits of the floor, and I noticed when I had the glovebox etc out when I was running wires that it has that white cotton wool type wadding stuffed in there. So what else does the Caravelle have in the way of insulation in the dash? Is the bulkhead insulated in some way?

Most velle's have additional wading in or behind most panels. I.e the velle pillar panels that I have bought have for my bus have said wading.
The comfort dash has addition pieces too..
It varies but @Pauly will know more

I have the comfort dash and it has the wadding stuffed in all the gaps behind, I'm wondering if some sound deadening is stuck on the bulkhead (either side?). It just seemed to have the same road noise from the floor and the same wind noise from the screen and windows as mine, but with much less noise coming from the engine particularly (yes it was a diesel, I asked to make sure :p)

Jeez I must have been drunker than I thought, turns out the vehicle I was travelling in was a T5.1 Shuttle! Now I'm even more confused

I think this thread is heavily influenced by alcohol.
I'm confused and I'm sober.
Haha it was all written when sober :D It all made sense at the time as I thought all the minibus type transporters were Caravelles, but I now know better. Just a bit baffled as surely a Shuttle wouldn't have any more insulation than mine, maybe T5s were a bit quieter?

Shuttle SEs are well appointed vehicles but so they should be for the price compared to other models. Often overlooked by those that follow the norm.
